Dermaceutic

About Dermaceutic

Dermaceutic was founded in 2002 by a collaboration between several French dermatologists. It is the number one brand for chemical peels and skincare in France. The revolutionary formulas have since then found their way into the cosmeceutical industry.

Cosmeceuticals is a collective term for cosmetics containing high concentrations of biologically active ingredients. Dermaceutic was one of the first to add these ingredients to formulations.

Today they are considered the standard ingredients for high-quality skin care. We are talking about ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, retinol and glycolic acid.

Dermaceutic is therefore a brand for which the products used in the salon and at home are not part of the standard skin care products, which is why Van Lennep Kliniek now also uses these magical French formulas.

Besides the Dermaceutic skincare for home use, we have a wide range of chemical peels. These are also often combined in our Confidence Booster GLOW treatments. During the consultation, the skin therapist will discuss which treatments are best for you, to get the best results.

Dermaceutic Mask Peel

Mask Peel is a professional skin booster for your skin. It is an entry-level treatment for oily, or acne-prone skin, for coarse pores and excess sebum. Dermaceutic’s Mask Peel purifies the epidermis and reduces the size of pores with a beautiful glow as the end result. The ingredients of the Mask Peel consist of glycolic acid and salicylic acid. The treatment is basically suitable for all skin types and gives no downtime.

Indications:

  • Acne
  • Overproduction of sebum
  • Comedones (blackheads)
  • Dull skin
  • Coarse pores
  • Irregular skin texture

Dermaceutic Milk Peel

The Milk Peel from Demaceutic consists of 50% glycolic acid, 10% lactic acid and 4% salicy acid. Together they form a powerful formula to make your skin glow again. This peel is suitable for all skin types and can also be combined with other cosmetic treatments (as microneedling, or IPL laser) for an even more effective effect. Milk Peel treatment increases collagen production and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Also, the peel helps reduce PIH (post-inflammatory browning) and types of pigmentation in the skin. Once the peel is applied you may experience a prickling sensation. After the treatment, the skin is visibly smoother and more even in the tone color.

Indications:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Smooth skin
  • Collagen production
  • Acne

Dermaceutic Cosmopeel 12% / 15% / 18% / 20% TCA

Dermaceutic’s Cosmopeel TCA is a medium to deep chemical peeling that provides accelerated skin renewal. The peel consists of a combination of different acids. At Van Lennep Kliniek we have different percentages of the Cosmopeel, so the peel can be built up in the intensity. TCA stands for tri-chloroacetic acid.  This substance damages the superficial skin cells. As a result, they flake off and the deeper layer of the skin is stimulated to produce extra collagen and elastin resulting in skin improvement on several levels. After the treatment, redness and flaking may occur. The process of skin renewal and peeling can last for several days to a week.

Indications:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Sun damaged skin
  • Pigment
  • Rough skin texture and acne scars

Dermaceutic Melapeel Forte

Dermaceutic’s Melapeel is a peel consisting of 5% resorciol, 10% lactic acid, 5% citric acid, 4% kojic acid and 4% arbutin. Dermaceutic’s Melapeel is used to treat hyperpigmentation spots and is particularly suitable for melasma. This is hormonally induced pigmentation, usually seen on the cheekbones, upper lip, chin and/or forehead. Pigmentation spots can occur superficially, as well as deeper in the skin and can be lighter or darker. The exact origin of melasma is unclear, but there are links between sun exposure, pregnancy, taking birth control, certain medications and genetics. We recommend undergoing the Melapeel in a course of treatment, every 4 weeks. On average, 4-6 treatments are required, depending on your skin type and the severity of the pigment.

Indications:

  • Sun Damage
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Melasma
  • Skin aging
  • Hyperpigmentation

Dermaceutic Cosmopeel Forte

The Cosmopeel Forte by Dermaceutic is one of the strongest peelings in our range. The peeling works very deeply and therefore gives an amazing result, already after 1 treatment. The Cosmopeel Forte consists of different types of ingredients, each with specific properties to penetrate a specific skin layer. The peeling causes the superficial skin layer to soften. This activates the skin renewal process, causing dead skin cells to be released and replaced with new healthy skin cells. The Cosmopeel Forte is composed of 20% TCA, 10% phenol and 10% glycolic acid. The effect of exfoliation is very deep and therefore works well in the field of anti-aging (production of collagen and elastin). Peel can be used as a stand-alone treatment, but the best results are usually obtained in combination with light and laser treatments. This peel gives a downtime of 7 – 10 days due to peeling. In addition, it is important to first prepare the skin with the appropriate Dermaceutic skincare.

Indications:

  • Fine deep lines
  • Acne
  • Skin Structure
  • Smoker’s skin
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Melasma
  • Skin slackening
