A full face approach takes the interplay of all facial muscles into account. With Botox full face, we look at your face as a whole.

Botox Full Face at Van Lennep Kliniek

Botox Full Face is a treatment that uses small amounts of botulinum toxin across multiple facial muscle groups to improve facial balance while maintaining natural expression.

What is Botox Full Face?

Our cosmetic physician evaluates your entire face and creates a treatment plan tailored to your anatomy, facial expressions, and preferences. It's not about treating as many areas as possible, but about achieving the right balance. Only the muscle groups that contribute to a natural and harmonious result are targeted.

Most people know Botox for classic areas like the forehead, frown lines, and crow's feet. However, a full-face treatment extends beyond these familiar areas. Sometimes, the smallest adjustments make the biggest difference. Consider a few units to relax the chin for a more refined look, subtly lift the corners of the mouth, gently curl the upper lip (lip flip), or soften the bunny lines next to the nose. It's precisely the combination of these subtle corrections that can create a softer, fresher, and beautifully balanced appearance.
Botox and filler zones

Masseter (jaw muscles)

Strongly developed jaw muscles can result in a broad or angular jawline. By subtly relaxing the masseter muscles, the facial contour can appear softer and slimmer. Many people also choose masseter treatment for teeth grinding or jaw clenching, as it can reduce tension in the chewing muscles. Treating teeth grinding or jaw clenching typically requires a higher dosage of Botox than light facial contouring.

Chin

An active chin muscle can cause an uneven skin texture, often referred to as an 'orange peel' appearance. By subtly relaxing the muscle, the chin looks smoother and more refined. For some, this also brings the chin slightly more into focus, creating a subtle contouring effect that contributes to a harmonious balance in the lower part of the face.

Lip flip

A lip flip gives your upper lip a more subtle, slightly fuller appearance without the use of fillers. By injecting a small amount of Botox above the lip, the upper lip rolls slightly outward. This is especially popular if your upper lip tends to disappear when you smile or if your lip line has become less defined.

Downturned corners of the mouth

Downward-turning corners of the mouth can create a tired or grumpy appearance, even when you don't feel that way at all. By gently relaxing the muscle that pulls the corner of the mouth down, you can achieve a friendlier and softer facial expression.

Bunny lines

Bunny lines are the fine wrinkles that appear on either side of the nose when you laugh or scrunch your nose. For some, these lines can be quite prominent or may accentuate a frown. A small amount of Botox can subtly soften them, giving the mid-face a more relaxed appearance.

Crow's feet

Crow's feet are the fine lines around the eyes that become visible when you smile or squint. A subtle treatment softens these lines without losing the character of your smile. Furthermore, relaxing the muscle around the eye can provide a slight brow lift, making the eyes look more open, refreshed, and rested, while giving your expression a softer appearance.

Frown wrinkles

The frown wrinkles is one of the most commonly treated areas with Botox worldwide. The vertical lines between the eyebrows can create an angry, tired, or tense appearance. By subtly relaxing the frown muscles, the face gains a softer and more relaxed expression. Because the muscles of the forehead and the frown work closely together, the physician always assesses whether both areas should be treated together for a natural and harmonious result.

Forehead wrinkles

Horizontal forehead lines are caused by the muscle that lifts your eyebrows. By subtly relaxing this muscle, the forehead appears smoother and more relaxed, while your natural expressions remain intact. The dosage is carefully tailored to ensure you avoid a heavy or expressionless look.

Neck (supplementary treatment)

The neck is not included as standard in a full-face Botox treatment, but it can be treated as an additional area if desired. When vertical neck bands or a tight neck muscle draw attention, Botox can create a smoother transition between the face and neck. Whether this treatment is suitable for you depends on your anatomy and goals, which will be discussed during your consultation.

Botox Full Face treatment results

We don't believe in changing, but in refining.

A full face treatment does not automatically mean more Botox or a frozen face. On the contrary: by carefully distributing small doses across different muscle groups, natural facial expressions are preserved. The result is a fresh, rested appearance, without anyone noticing you've had a treatment.

HOW IT WORKS

From consultation to visible results

01
It all begins with a complimentary, comprehensive initial consultation. Our aesthetic doctor takes the time to analyze your face, listens to your goals, and discusses what you'd like to improve. Next, we assess which treatment best suits your anatomy, natural expressions, and overall aesthetic.
02
A full-face Botox treatment typically takes 20 to 30 minutes. Using a very fine needle, the cosmetic physician injects small amounts of Botox into the pre-agreed areas. Most people experience the injections as minor, superficial pinpricks that are well-tolerated.
03
You can immediately get back to your day after the treatment. The injection points are so tiny that you'll often have to look closely to even see where the Botox was injected. Occasionally, there might be slight redness, a minor swelling, or in rare cases, a small bruise, but these reactions are temporary and will disappear on their own.
04
The effect of Botox gradually builds up and is usually fully visible after 5 to 14 days. Depending on your muscle activity, metabolism, and lifestyle, the results remain visible for an average of 3 months.

Why Botox Full Face at Van Lennep Kliniek?

At Van Lennep Kliniek, we believe that a fresh and natural appearance goes beyond just reducing wrinkles. That's why we don't just focus on Botox, but on the entire face and how it ages naturally.

A full-face Botox treatment is one way we can restore balance to the face. However, sometimes a combination with skin improvement, collagen stimulation, or fillers yields a more beautiful and lasting result. Our cosmetic doctors therefore always recommend the treatment that best suits your face and your wishes – not simply the treatment you initially came in for.

With over 15 years of experience in cosmetic medicine and a team of NVCG-certified cosmetic doctors, expertise, safety, and honest advice are paramount. This also means that we sometimes advise postponing a treatment or not performing it at all. Because ultimately, we believe that the best treatment isn't the most extensive one, but the one that allows you to radiate naturally.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about the Botox Full Face treatment
Is Botox Full Face better than treating individual zones?
Sometimes treating a single area is exactly what is needed. However, over time, other facial muscles may become more dominant, making the result look less natural or less balanced. A full face approach takes the interplay of all facial muscles into account. With full face Botox, we look at your face as a whole. By making very subtle adjustments in multiple areas, we create a balance that you can feel, but others cannot quite put their finger on. You won't look "treated." You will simply look like yourself, but at your best.
How often should you repeat a Botox Full Face treatment?
Everyone reacts differently to a full face Botox treatment. Dosage, muscle strength, and metabolism vary per person, which means the duration of the results also varies. In general, the effect progresses as follows:
• The maximum result is visible after approximately 2 weeks.
• Most people experience the best results around 4 weeks.
• From 6 weeks onwards, some movement may gradually return to the treated muscles.
• After an average of 3 to 6 months, the effect of Botox wears off, and a repeat treatment may be desired to maintain the results.
Can Botox Full Face be combined with fillers?
Botox Full Face can often be combined with fillers. While Botox relaxes the muscles and reduces dynamic wrinkles, fillers restore lost volume and improve facial contours. By combining both treatments, the face can be refreshed in a natural way without losing facial expressions. During a consultation, we will determine which combination best suits your face and goals.
At what age is full face Botox recommended?
There is no set age at which a Botox Full Face treatment is recommended. The treatment is suitable once dynamic wrinkles become visible or if you wish to soften them preventively.
Can a Botox Full Face treatment look unnatural?
A Botox Full Face treatment does not have to look unnatural. At Van Lennep Kliniek, our practitioners look at the big picture: your skin, facial balance, expressions, wishes, and lifestyle. The goal is not to eliminate your facial expressions, but to create the right balance between relaxation and natural movement. This preserves your expressions while providing a fresh, rested look that suits your face.
Can I exercise after a full face Botox treatment?
It is recommended to avoid intense exercise for the first 6 hours after the treatment. For optimal results, it is important to follow all aftercare instructions.

Please also read our aftercare instructions for Botox treatments.
Who is a Botox Full Face treatment suitable for?
A Botox Full Face treatment is suitable for those who want to refresh their face in a subtle and natural way without losing their facial expressions. Instead of treating a single area, our doctors look at the balance of the entire face. They assess factors such as muscle activity, facial proportions, expressions, and your personal goals.
How much does a full face Botox treatment cost?
