While studying at the medical academy, I discovered my love for dermatology. I saw how the combination of good communication and a customized treatment plan can change people's lives. That inspired me to delve into both skin health and aesthetics. Drs. Maryna Alimova is a dermatologist-cosmetologist, trained in Ukraine, where she obtained her medical degree in 2015. After specializing in dermatovenerology, she worked for three years at Method Clinic in Kyiv, where she gained experience in both dermatological care and cosmetic treatments. She has been working at Van Lennep Kliniek since 2020.
In addition to aesthetic treatments, Drs. Maryna Alimova also patients with chronic skin problems such as acne and rosacea. She is known for her careful and patient approach, paying close attention to the needs and comfort of her clients.
Extended arm construction:
Drs. Maryna Alimova has completed her medical education in Ukraine, which is why she is currently working on the “certificate of competence” procedure to obtain her BIG registration in the Netherlands. Until then, she works under the “extended arm construction”, where a BIG-registered cosmetic doctor is present. Drs. Maryna Alimova speaks Ukrainian, Russian, English and Dutch B1 level.
Maryna combines her dermatological knowledge with cosmetic expertise, allowing her to integrate both skin health and aesthetics into her treatments. She is experienced in injectables such as botox, fillers, collagen stimulators, skin boosters and polynucleotides, and enjoys working with combined treatment techniques to achieve subtle, natural results. She has her office hours four to five days a week, so she performs more than 1,600 injectable treatments in our clinic every year.
