Dr. Markwin Statius Muller studied medicine at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. From 2000 to 2006, he trained as a surgeon at the VUmc and Slotervaart Hospital. During this period, he obtained his PhD on the subject “The sentinel node concept in melanoma: relevancy and consequences”. After specializing, he worked for ten years as a surgeon in various clinics in the Netherlands, with expertise in general, oncological, gastrointestinal and trauma surgery.
Later, he decided to follow his passion and fully focus on cosmetic medicine, specializing in hair transplants and injectables. In addition to being a surgeon, he is now also officially registered as a KNMG cosmetic doctor. His medical background and years of experience form the firm basis for every treatment.

Dr. Markwin Statius Muller combines his experience as a doctor and surgeon with a passion for sophisticated aesthetic results. He performs daily injectable treatments, including botox, fillers, collagen stimulators, skin boosters and polynucleotides. One of his favorite techniques is the so-called hybrid treatment: a combination of hyaluronic acid and a collagen stimulator. This approach complements loss of volume to subtly lift the face and at the same time firms the skin. He has his office hours two days a week, so he performs more than 800 injectable treatments per year in our clinic.
In addition to injectables, Dr. Markwin Statius Muller regularly treats clients who suffer from disfiguring skin disorders. Thanks to his surgical background, he can carefully remove these often benign areas that are not treated in hospital. His challenge lies in performing the procedure with the smallest possible incision, for the best possible end result.
