At the age of 13, my grandmother gave me my first skin care product. She had had a lot of acne herself as a teenager and wanted to do everything she could to prevent that from happening to me. Because of her, my interest and especially love for the skin started.
As a front-office employee in the clinic, I saw every day how valuable and meaningful the job of skin therapist is. Inspired by my colleagues, I decided to start the part-time Skin Therapy course in 2024. I understand how important healthy, beautiful skin is for someone's self-esteem and, as a skin specialist, am happy to contribute to that.
What I enjoy most is meeting new clients, each with their own story. From biochemist to gym teacher — everyone is welcome in my chair. In addition to working on a good result, I also like to listen to my clients.

Meghan Smit is a skin specialist, consultant and front office employee at Van Lennep Clinic. Since 2024, she has been following the part-time Skin Therapy course, with the aim of fully qualifying as a skin therapist. Her interest in skin care started at an early age and continued to grow through her work experience at the clinic.
In her role as consultant, Meghan advises clients on skin treatments and creates customized treatment plans. With her warm and open personality, she knows how to make clients feel comfortable and combines professional skin care with personal attention, so that every client feels heard and cared for.
She now also started as a skin specialist in late 2024 and has already treated more than 300 customers.
