Of course you don’t want that and fortunately there is certainly something you can do about it. When your skin ages it loses hyaluronic acid. This is a substance in the body with a great moisturizing capacity. Moreover, hyaluronic acid ensures that your skin produces collagen. Collagen provides strength throughout your body, including in your skin. Do you feel that your skin has become drier and duller? That the elasticity and suppleness has decreased? The GLOW Skinbooster treatment rejuvenates the skin, slows down the aging process and stimulates the production of collagen and elastin fibers. The fresh and natural elevator that your skin can use!
What is GLOW Skinbooster?
If the amount of hyaluronic acid in your skin has decreased, we can replenish it using a skin booster. A skinbooster is a thin liquid with hyaluronic acid as a base. This filler is inserted into the desired skin area with a series of micro-injections. This allows us to improve the skin from the inside out and with a natural body substance. Unlike fillers with a corrective purpose (to fill wrinkles and create volume), the main purpose of the skin booster is: to improve skin quality and hydrate the skin. However, you will find that fine lines and blemishes do fade and you experience a subtle increase in volume from this hydration boost. You can use a skin booster effectively for many different skin areas. Of course for the face, for the lips, but also for the neck, the décolleté and the hands.
What is the result?
A skin booster provides long-lasting, deep skin hydration and overall skin improvement. It is the ideal treatment to start early. The pores of the skin refine, fine lines fade, acne scars and other blemishes are reduced. In addition, you will experience that your skin becomes more supple and smooth, giving you a fresher look.
The GLOW Skinbooster step by step plan
Together we discuss your wishes and determine whether a skin booster treatment is the right treatment for you. In addition, we look at which skin zones and with what frequency we would like to perform the skin booster.
We recommend starting 3 weeks in advance with pre-treatment treatment that you do at home with our HOME skin care cosmeceuticals. This will make your skin more accessible to the treatments and allow the product to penetrate the skin nicely. In addition, we recommend that you do not take any blood thinning medications or alcohol 48 hours before the treatment.
During a treatment session, we perform the skin booster for the predetermined skin areas. With a series of mini-injections, we carefully insert a hyaluronic acid-based liquid in the right places. A session lasts approximately half an hour. You can possibly get a numbing cream on the skin 20 minutes beforehand, so you feel the pricks a little less.
You will be given comprehensive aftercare instructions after each treatment. It is important that you allow your skin to rest. After the treatment you may experience a slight swelling / bumps (looks like small mosquito bites) or bruising in the treated area. This both goes away within a few days. In the period after treatment, avoid peeling creams, and scrubs. Also, be sure to avoid exposure to bright sunlight, or massages and beauty treatments. With POST-treatment products you ensure appropriate aftercare at home.
For optimal results, it is smart to repeat the skin booster treatment every four weeks. Improving your skin is a gradual process. By having several treatments done, you ensure a longer lasting and better result.

Does this GLOW treatment fit your skin and your improvement needs? During the intake we look at your face and determine together if we include this treatment in your personal plan. We also determine what frequency will give the best results. We almost always recommend multiple treatments. Research shows that skin treatments in a course give the best and fastest results, think of an average of 4 to 6 treatments and then maintenance treatments. In addition, we look at other GLOW treatments that may be a good addition to your personal plan.
